Needham Goes Purple

Join COOK. Restaurants on June 4th, 2018 to support Alzheimer’s Association achieve their mission of a world without Alzheimer’s disease. We will be offering The Purple Butterfly, a drink where all proceeds will be donated to Alzheimer’s research. Our Needham and Newton location will be participating, stop by either one to contribute!

Mardi Gras at Cook!

We’re bringing Bourbon Street to Boston! Join us for our Mardi Gras specials inspired by New Orleans’ favorite feast. On Tuesday, February 28th we are expanding our intimate neighborhood vibe to include the carnival’s vibrant energy.



You can indulge in small plates like Bourbon Honey Mustard Wings, or feast on flavor-packed entrees like Drunken Mussels made with Andouille Sausage, and a Cajun Shrimp Flatbread with a spicy garlic cream. Sweeten the Mardi Gras meal with an order of house-made Beignets. Toast the night with the Special Fat Tuesday cocktail with Bulleit Rye, Myers Dark Rum and grapefruit. Reservations are recommended.

Cook For Charity With Kerry Kavanaugh

We are inviting you to a night of charity and celebrity chefs! Join us on Thursday, March 16th, 2017 from 6:30PM to 8:30PM for our continued celebrity chef series “Cook for Charity”. Our celebrity chef for the night is FOX25 anchor Kerry Kavanaugh!

Kavanaugh and our own Executive Chef Paul Turano will be serving the “The Kavanaugh Flatbread” to benefit Boston Partners in Education. “The Kavanaugh Flatbread” is made with prosciutto, oven roasted tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, arugula and balsamic glaze. 100 % of sales from each $16 “The Kavanaugh Flatbread” will be donated to Boston Partners in Education. Boston Partners in Education enhances the academic achievement and nurtures the personal growth of Boston’s public school students by providing them with focused, individualized, in-school volunteer support.

Kerry K

Kerry is an investigative reporter and the weekend evening anchor for FOX25 News at 6 and 10. A native of Medford, MA, and a Boston College graduate, Kerry has worked across the country covering breaking news. In 2009, the Society of Professional Journalists awarded her first place for consumer reporting in Florida and The Associated Press of Iowa and the Iowa Broadcast News Association honored her series of stories with first place in documentary awards. The Emmy award-nominated broadcast journalist is fluent in Spanish and she loves traveling and trying new restaurants.

This night of cooking is one of several celebrity chef events at Cook, all of which raise money and awareness about a charity chosen by the specific celebrity chef of the evening. The regular menu will also be available on the night. Reservations are recommended by calling 617-964-2665.

Erica Corsano Cook For Charity

We are welcoming Erica Corsano, lifestyle editor and social columnist at The Boston Herald, as part of our continuing “Cook for Charity” celebrity chef series. On Wednesday, September 30th, Erica will roll up her sleeves and get cooking with Executive Chef/Owner Paul Turano where they’ll be serving up flatbreads all evening long. In addition to our signature menu items, we will be serving “The Corsano” special, a house-made flatbread with wood-roasted eggplant caponata, goat cheese, arugula and balsamic ($15). 100 percent of sales from each $15 “The Corsano” flatbread will be donated to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) –Angell Animal Medical Center. The mission of the MSPCA-Angell is to protect animals, relieve their suffering, advance their health and welfare, prevent cruelty, and work for a just and compassionate society.

Erica is an avid dog-lover and the proud owner of two Jack Russell Terriers, Penelope and Henri. Erica’s deep roots in the lifestyle realm reach back over a decade, beginning in New York City where she worked for some of the world’s most recognized luxury brands (Bottega Veneta, Bulgari, CH Carolina Herrera). She eventually moved over to the media side of life, regularly contributing to publications like Daily Candy and The Boston Globe, and later held editorial positions at Lucky Magazine (Boston Editor), Boston Common Magazine (Editor-at-Large), and STUFF Magazine (Editorial Director). Corsano then helped launch both Gilt City Boston (a subsidiary of Gilt Groupe, Inc.) and the Boston outpost for The Real Real. She is currently a Lifestyle Editor and Social Columnist at the Boston Herald and co-hosts a radio show called “Status Report” on Boston Herald Radio.

Bree Sison Cooks for Charity

We are pleased to welcome Bree Sison of WBZ This Morning, as part of our continuing “Cook for Charity” celebrity chef series. On Thursday, August 20th, 2015 Bree will roll up her sleeves and get cooking with Executive Chef/Owner Paul Turano where they’ll be serving up flatbreads all evening long. In addition to our signature menu items, we will be serving “The Bree” special, a house-made bruschetta flatbread with honey-thyme ricotta, prosciutto and peaches ($15). 100 percent of sales from each $15 “The Bree” flatbread will be donated to the Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation.

In her time at WBZ-TV, Bree has been part of a National EMMY Award winning broadcast live from Newtown, Connecticut. She also contributed to coverage of the Boston Marathon Bombings that was honored with a national Peabody Award and an Alfred I. duPont Award. For her work covering the Red Sox World Series win, Bree was nominated for a New England EMMY for Best Sports Reporter.  A native of Norfolk, Virginia, Bree holds Bachelors Degrees in both Political Science and Mass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University.  She earned a Masters Degree in Political Management from George Washington University in 2012.  Outside of work, Bree is an advocate for mental health research.  Her husband Sam is a member of the Massachusetts National Guard.

We are thrilled to welcome City of Newton Mayor Setti Warren as part of our continuing “Cook for Charity” celebrity chef series.  On Tuesday, April 14th, 2015 Mayor Warren will roll up his sleeves and get cooking with Executive Chef/Owner
Paul Turano where they’ll be serving up flatbreads all evening long. In addition to Cook’s signature menu items, the restaurant will be serving “The Croque Mayor” special, a house-made country ham, gruyere and ramp pesto topped with a
fried egg. 100 percent of sales from each $15 “The Croque Mayor” flatbread will be donated to the Angela and Patrick Palmer Research Fund for brain cancer.

Sunday Storm, Monday Brunch

Due to the severe winter weather for Sunday, February 15, we will be closed for brunch. We hope to reopen for dinner service at 4:30. We’ll keep you posted. Here’s the GOOD NEWS!
